The biro is mightier than the AK-47 M-16
In the old days, the pen was mightier than the sword.
Now, according to the logo of Darfur's United Revolutionary Force Front (URFF), the biro is mightier than the AK-47 M-16 (thanks rcfiver - see comments).
Although, given the fact that the rifle is on top of the biro in the image, maybe it is the other way round. Which is less poetic but, in Darfur right now, more realistic.

This takes me back to my childhood years of Soviet style politics of Ethiopia, where every communist organization proudly displayed an image of the AK-47 on its logo to show it is readiness to pay the ultimate scarifies for the revolution.
One would think in this day and age these kinds of logos would be wrong to use and in bad taste. But, marching on with the times, and to lessen the shocking effect of just displaying the AK-47, the “wise URFF leaders” have made some modification by adding "the mighty pen". The irony is the pen looks not just incompatible but mighty meek.

That's an M-16, not an AK-47, so what does that mean?
