I think you moved to one of important venues in the African continent for International news. Hope you will do your best to cover the events in Sudan.

I lived in Sudan for a year and half in a small town called Gadarif. I occasionally visited Khartoum. However I tried to read as many books as I could about the History of Sudan. Literary you might be walking on great many historical locations. Starting from building of great pyramids, slave trade to the creation of modern nation state of Sudan. Please visit Museum Of Khartoum to see clips of history. The two big articles you have posted which give very wonderful analysis of current crisis in Sudan are tips of the ice berg. I am very much saddened to see the great land with fertile soil and great people is under such war conditions. I could not believe my ears when I heard that Sudanese are massacring Sudanese in such big numbers. We had lost close to two million people in the south and 200, 000 are dead in Darfur.

Whether they are from the south or the north the people in that country seemed to me wonderful and kind. Why such a condition came up within such short time? I am still bewildered and haunted with such simple but difficult to answer questions. Do you think is there any chance to really understand this problems and solve them forever. On those articles the author indicates those problems are universal to the whole continent of Africa and the African societies. Do you think we will be getting at long lasting solution to bring permanent peace in Sudan by implication to the whole of the Horn and Africa? Do you really believe that there are Arabs and non Arabs in Sudan or just a matter of definition for international consumptions by international media?

I saw a beautiful lemon tree and huge fruit hanging on it on your site. It is a very good irony and news from Sudan is as sour as it could be like lemon juice. I wish you success and wish the Sudanese people peace and prosperities.
